The founder and President - Chief Executive Officer - Dana John Twohig, a Community Developer is a licensed[1] Real Estate Broker in California. Mr. Twohig has actively operated in the Real Estate business and will soon celebrate 23 years of service. Prior to 1984, Mr. Twohig (“D.J.”) was employed in the construction industry framing high-rise commercial and custom residential structures in San Francisco-Bay Area and Newport Beach respectively. It was in the trenches in construction that Mr. Twohig decided he would create a real estate empire in California and that is what he has done.

 

Mr. Twohig has been blessed with vision, talent and technology during his 20 plus - year record actively researching tens of thousands of possible transactions and purchasing, financing and escrowing thousands of strategic real estate projects and small portfolios for the companies he serves. D.J. received his education at California State University at Long Beach (CSULB), arriving on an athletic scholarship. Twohig credits his discipline in his Water Polo career as his foundation for his career discipline and his study principles. Twohig was selected as a Varsity player all four years (1982-1986) at Long Beach State, earning honors as M.V.P. at his alma-matter in 1986 for NCAA Division I - Water Polo.  Before arriving at Long Beach State, Twohig earned First Team AAU All American in 1981, while guiding his West Coast team to a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. D.J. attended a five-year curriculum at CSULB, majoring in Business Administrations with an emphasis in Real Estate Marketing/Finance.

Mr. Twohig’s delivery is clearly researched, powerfully presented and sharply accurate. He is a Real Estate deal creator, personally participating as a principal in more than 1000 successful Real Estate sales transactions since 1984. Looking back, it was three decades ago when he generated his first closed land sale at California Pines. He has a vast Real Estate background convicted with his knowledge to empower business leaders and investors. Now, organized with his vision, integrity and administrative direction, BWC is in powerful position to fulfill its five-year mission to “Build Better Communities” in select markets[2] of the Southwestern U.S.

 

Mr. Twohig is responsible for all research, acquisitions and Inventory holdings in rural residential, high-mountain resort and hi-desert communities of Southern California, Northern California, Southern Oregon and Arizona. In Southern Oregon and Northern California, Twohig compiled research and conducted acquisitions in Illinois Valley, California Pines Resort and Lake Shastina respectively. In Southern California, Mr. Twohig has compiled comprehensive studies, research and acquisitions in the Antelope Valley, East Kern County, California City and SW Riverside County for three decades.

 

In 1997, as President/CEO, Mr. Twohig has successfully orchestrated the acquisition of the assets, operating systems and trade names previously held by BIG WEST REALTY, BIG WEST MORTGAGE and BIG WEST HOMES, creating a $7M Parent Corporation. D.J. re-organized fifteen divisional company operations by 2002, pairing all but three operations, the bread and butter real estate entities. The synergy of the company products is served by a detailed business plan growing toward a $50 Million corporation. He is currently positioning BIG WEST LAND as a proposed LLC and will go to market on a $30 Million Building Program in California City, with ground breaking scheduled in Summer Y2008.

 

As CEO of BWC, Mr. Twohig’s primary Scope of Responsibilities include developing an Administrative Team of Officers; CFO, COO, Legal Team, Directors, Division Managers, Sales Associates and Correspondents, while also directing all corporate legal, marketing, sales training, production housing, funding and advertising programs. His Dept. Directors empowered with Daily Reports, once weekly Director’s Meetings and Administrative briefs, as necessary. Semi-monthly, Mr. Twohig sponsors a public relations event with key corporate positions and strategic partners. Mr. Twohig participates in several mastermind sessions weekly. Every year, Mr. Twohig publishes BWC annual report and outlook. He is currently in the process of publishing a corporate report, which will ultimately be submitted for evaluation of a public stock offering.

 

One of Mr. Twohig’s research publications, The BIG WEST INFORMER[3] has received high regards and recommendations from economic officials and business leaders in L.A. County and Kern County. Look for another dynamic issue in late Y2007.

 

Mr. Twohig splits time between the Corona California Administrative center and California City operations.

 

Mortgage and Lender Services - Dawn Fletcher has serves in the Controller position and concurrently developed the Public Relations Department of BIG WEST CORP. Fletcher has owned several successful companies and enjoyed huge success in multi-level marketing. A poised public speaker and vocalist, Ms. Fletcher is a powerful asset and presently serves in Public Relations as she builds up the lender services functions under BIG WEST MORTGAGE. Ms. Fletcher is currently obtaining her Real Estate license and is participating in leadership training under direction of CEO Mr. Twohig. Ms. Flecther’s goal is to share the vision and leadership positions of BWC with strategic partners at Calendar events. Fletcher reports to the Corona administrative center.

 

Operations Director, Corporate – Arturo Mejia’s objective is to direct and manage all operations of the Corona Administrative center; from IT and TO to Escrow Chief and Customer Services Oversight. From Account Services to Lead Development Programs and Supply Systems, Mr. Meija is a multi-tasking Director with nearly four years tenure. Mejia has done it all; perform all primary and secondary duties in Operations. Mejia’s strength comes from his discipline and devotion to serving the parent company mission faithfully; his endurance and vision to partner with the CEO to lead in Business Development and Community development is unparalleled. Hi close proximity to all departments, including the INFORMERSM  land research and MORE COFFEE PLEASESM distribution put him in a powerful position to help investors. To assist BIG WEST CORP. position as a Spanish market leader, Mejia is currently obtaining his Real Estate license with a purpose to equal Anglo sales with Spanish sales growth. Mejia resides in Riverside and reports to the Corona administrative center.

 

Account Services Agent Angie Lopez. SCOPE of this position is to manage all A/R, Collections, Customer Services of the Mortgage Operations under direction of Arturo Mejia and Controller, Ms. Fletcher. Also a secondary bilingual Spanish language translator.

 

Research and Development – Caitlyn Twohig. Scope is to prepare call calendar for portfolio acquisitions, mapping, land use and file management. A former scholar-athlete, Ms. Twohig desires to become a high profile wedding planner. In the interim, Ms. Twohig has experience in Acquisitions and desires to partner with Ms. Fletcher and Ms. Lopez to provide exceptional hosting of our sales events.

 

Customer Services Agent – Anna Cordova. SCOPE of this position is to support Operations duties, including Mail Center, direct marketing, courier among other duties.

 

Special Operations Projects – Mike Spires. Scope is to tackle special projects in support of Operations.

 

Operations Technician – Fernando Santamaria. SCOPE of this position is to support Sales programs; Real Estate Seminars, Land Orientations, Career Orientations, HomeBuyers Seminars, Web Development, Asset Management, etc.

 

Candidate RMO-CG –  Tom Meador objectives are to report successfully as RMO-GC, providing construction solutions to BIG WEST HOMES $30 million dollar building program. Meador has the construction experience, is an active framing contractor and has the active GC license required to serve the corporation. The track record establishing BIG WEST HOMES will support a regional land development approach.

 

Presently Meador is the President of Desert Framing Inc. a framing company which has recently moved from Las Vegas to Murrieta. Meador’s successful history in building ranges widely from residential to commercial properties in both California and Nevada. Tom will be reporting directly at the Corona offices, beginning his tenure with BIG WEST HOMES on three approved projects; “The 72nd St. project”, “Edward St. project” and our newest showcase model project, “The Redwood project”. Immediately following completion of the first three projects under BIG WEST  HOMES, Tom will begin pre-production of our planned development projects, including “Parkway Estates”, “Twin Butte Ranch Estates” andNorth City Estates”.

 

Project Manager, California CityGaetano Colomba. SCOPE is to direct all local operations including Heavy Equipment, manage local trades, as necessary under BIG WEST LAND. His primary emphasis is the direction and assistance of our Land Development objectives, including continued Land Research, Acquisitions, Reconnaissance, Monument and Grading Operations. Colomba shares the BIG WEST LAND vision to operate from our LAND DEPOT facility and expand our sister company Core Construction. Mr. Colomba will be assisting our G.C. and BWH with project coordination.

Administrative Assistant – Human Resources and Asset Management – Valerie DeBerry. Now testing in Administrations from our California City operation. A licensed Real Estate Agent and former Adminsitrative support level position for Pepsi based in Mojave, CA. Ms. DeBerry is talented in Administrative tasks necessary to support land development operations. A secondary hostess for Land Tours and primary hostess for Private Land Tours, Ms. Deberry is in a strong position to elevate and manage our branch office in California City.

 

 

Sales Consultant – Celina. Scope is to perform in-house sales and client relations. Ms. Celina is a veteran of real estate sales and marketing programs. She has experience generating and hosting sales events.

 

Enrolled Agent – Ray Shelton. Scope is to support day to day Accounting with Tax Reporting and financial reporting criteria. To consult CEO with Accounting Outlook.

 

Certified Public Accountant/Cand. Chief Financial Officer – Pam Metzer objectives are to report successful control of all BIG WEST CORP. accounting data and financial submissions. Metzer serves as CFO of United Electric, Inc. and has built a $50M corporation of that entity. Metzer comes to BIG WEST CORP. as a volunteer assisting Ownership with its vision to fund $3M in Community Development, IPO and Financial Restructuring of Debt. Metzer vision is to drive BIG WEST CORP. to a $50M corporation and enjoy a stockholder position and property ownership at Lake Isabella.

 

Certified Public Accountant/Cand. Chief Financial Officer – Frank Pisano, Hoffski & Pisano initial objective has been realized, providing successful forensic accounting of problematic transactions with former business partnership interests relating to JMG ENTERPRISES. Concurrent with published financials, Pisano is in position to fund strategic commercial and income projects within BIG WEST CORP. community development programs.

Consultant Operations/Candidate Operations Officer Marty Curry has performed diligently for four years as Operations Manager (OM) advancing the corporate mission; fulfilling commitments made by the President/CEO. Mr. Curry has proven his will to get the job done during his tenure as OM. His former Scope of Responsibility included directing operations; attending to growth objectives in every area of the business system. He has previously served with authority over Account Service Dept., Human Resources Dept., Lead Development Systems (LDS), Database Control, Business Operating System, Business Plan Development, Public Relations, Limousine Services and Asset Data Management.

 

Mr. Curry is currently attending to College Curriculum. His curriculum focus is Business Accounting and Administration. He has recently completed courses in Advanced Computers and Quickbooks. Marty operates from Las Vegas.

 

Consultant General Contractor/Candidate RMO GC Jim Twohig performs General Foreman supervision capacity for Meiswinckle, Inc. a large commercial contractor in San Francisco. As Candidate for RMO-GC, Jim’s strength and tenure managing construction projects for Meiswinckle, Inc., which exceed hundreds of millions of dollars, provide vast construction experience and resources to BIG WEST. Jim, serving in the position of General Foreman, recently completed currently on the Four Season Hotel in S.F. (a 44-story building) and is the immediate brother to our founder-CEO. Jim has been responsible to provide construction information and services to CEO as a consultant from his office in the Bay Area where he resides.

 

Consultant General Contractor – Pepper Williams operates Williams Construction in California City and has performed as BIG WEST HOMES General Contractor for the construction of “The Pacific” Plan 1319 in California City. Pepper and his wife Elaine have been active building homes in California City since 1969 and are community leaders. Pepper is a member of FOUR STAR Construction who recently completed Desert Jade, a senior community and is now in pre-construction phases of The Inn at Tierra Del Sol, an LLP with FOUR STAR included in the membership. Pepper has expressed his interest in assisting BIG WEST CORP. with its market expansion plans and has recently been named BIG WEST HOMES first candidate for Project Director of California City operations.

 

Consultant Real Estate Investor – Dave Roekle of FSCI Group. Scope is to exchange strategic land planning efforts with CEO.

 

Correspondent Team Model – As part of the corporate philosophy of “Building Better Communities”, a Community Development Program has been proposed to Officials in the Greater Antelope Valley; Kern County Officials, Kern Economic Development Corporation (KEDC), Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance (GAVEA), City of Lancaster, California City and the Antelope Valley Board of Trade (AVBOT). Palmdale Officials, Antelope Valley Board of Realtors and other Antelope Valley organizations will be presented with our program and concurrently the opportunity to correspond with BIG WEST CORP. According to the model proposed, key community builders and economic advocate leaders from each organization will routinely correspond information to our research department (nerve center) all areas of social and economic opportunity in the regional community. Accordingly, information will be published and presented to each organization, which can then be used as a resource to promote and grow the community. The BIG WEST INFORMER™, has been established as the medium for the altruistic correspondent outreach in the Antelope Valley and East Kern County communities. The mission is to accurately report findings relating to the Economic Opportunity nurturing business development and commercial development opportunity in the communities of the Antelope Valley.
